Village Fish Head Noodles at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

Last Sunday, when my stomachache has recovered, it’s time to restore my energy after such a painful week, MC over one whole week ! We went to Village Fish Head Noodle to satisfy my cravings on fried dumplings, wan tan, home made toufu, and best of all fish head noodle :-) Below is the entrance of the restaurant, I guess it’s pretty new in town, note the welcoming flower.

Best Char Siew Wan Tan Mee at SFS Kopitiam 747 Restaurant

As Wai Lian said KL’s char siew wan tan mee and tai lok mee are better than Penang’s, so I brought him to the only char siew wan tan mee that I know of. This stall is located at behind Dataran Prima. If you have a GPS, just search for the keyword 747. I can easily remember this number, simply because it is my car plate number ! Lol

A Day at Zoo Negara Malaysia

During my best friend visits to KL last week, we went to Zoo Negara just for fun as he thought he could play with his Canon 40D. Tagging along with him, I brought my gear 500D and we went hunting !! After paying RM20 ticket, we actually asked for maps. The shockingly truth is you have to pay for it ! It’s RM2, of course I reluctant to pay. Note that you also have to pay for other things like a ride on the bus train which rounds the Zoo. So the RM20 is just for entrance fee, not inclusive of anything inside. Upon entering, we chose to go left first.

Toast Box at Mid Valley

When my best friend in KL last few days, he said he wanted to try Toast Box for a very long time already. Being new to me as well, so we went to Mid Valley one. With big appetite, he ordered peanut thick toast set and nasi lemak, while me, still having stomachache, just ordered a “Hot Milo kosong” with Toast Bread.

12 Inches Burger at Cravings, Sunway Giza

It was my first time to step into Sunway Giza, honestly I did not even know there is such new building so far. What catches my eyes is Cravings, which was on the right hand side once I entered (depends on which entrance you go in I believe). Cravings is a newly opened Kitchen and Bistro at Sunway Giza, simply because of its ability to satisfy our cravings with huge portions! Sunway Giza a new mall in Kota Damansara, and I was impressed at how modern and chic that place looked. I guess that’s the trend of mall nowadays when you see more and more this kind of places are built, similarly like The Palette at IOI Boulevard, Jaya One, Plaza Kelana and soon, the new SS2 Mall.

Then, the star of the night arrived – 12″ Cravings Monster Burger! This tall burger had a variety of meat patties including chicken, beef, beef pepperoni, chicken ham, vegetarian patty and hash brown clapped in between two pieces of burger buns. One thing interesting to note is that the chef actually made these patties himself, and though they looked a little like those from Ramly burger butthey’re actually home made!

Happy Mother’s Day at Overseas Restaurant Jaya One

This is a quick post on yesterday’s celebration of mother’s day + belated bro-in-laws (Bro Ho) birthday :-) We had our dinner at Overseas Restaurant located at Jaya One, PJ. My bro-in-law managed to reserve a table for us yesterday, lucky us. Upon arriving, as usual while waiting for the food to be served, we stole some time for photo shooting.
