New Sushi Creation at Benkay Japanese Restaurant, Hotel Nikko KL

Benkay@Nikko has always been a great place to have a high quality Japanese meal and been close to my heart ever since I had my first time experience there. This time, I’m visiting there again to try out their new sushi creation. Without wasting any precious time, let me introduce you to the first creation, which I believe was the favorite of the night !

And of course who can ever resist a fresh sashimi just came out from the oven !

Above: California Maki, a nice one though I prefer Eel Maki :-)

Next was a beautiful sashimi dish, guessed probably it’s inspired by “peacock”. Want my advise? forget the chili padi !

Next is a special dish that I never tasted before.

Above: Deep Fried Prawn Tempura with Rice (Wait, it’s not meant to be eaten like that, something is missing)

Basically you have tempura on top of Japanese rice, then have piping  HOT green tea poured onto it. Tasted weird indeed, but it’s the creativity that counts :-)
