During my best friend visits to KL last week, we went to Zoo Negara just for fun as he thought he could play with his Canon 40D. Tagging along with him, I brought my gear 500D and we went hunting !! After paying RM20 ticket, we actually asked for maps. The shockingly truth is you have to pay for it ! It’s RM2, of course I reluctant to pay. Note that you also have to pay for other things like a ride on the bus train which rounds the Zoo. So the RM20 is just for entrance fee, not inclusive of anything inside. Upon entering, we chose to go left first.
My first time to see such a tall animal, really amazing!
Wifey likes to play this game Spot The Difference! Can you spot 5 differences in the photos??? :-D
I think the picture on the left is Flamingo bird and Wai Lian (Right)
Look !! A very similar to FoongPC species, “Tapir” in Malay.
Next, African Lioness. Where is the Lion ??
Baby kangaroo, looks like a rat in this picture, right?
Just manage to see a black bear, panda is nowhere to be seen.
Haha, both penguins look at same spot.
Penguin 1: Look, up there !!
Penguin 2: What what?
Again, looking at other same spots.
Err, this one looks lonely…
Wai Lian and I feel that it’s a good experience to the Zoo Negara, of course it’s still lack of many animals but for RM20, it’s worth a day visit. Our only regret is that we don’t have a telelens, then we can take National Geographic alike photos, lol.
Zoo Negara is open daily from 9AM-5PM, and needless to say, all the information as below.
