Buka Puasa Ramadhan Buffet Dinner at Cinnamon Coffee House, One World Hotel

As it’s the month of Ramadhan, there are so many promotions out there, especially buffet style. This time I’m going to introduce to you one of the good destination to savor your hunger after a day of fasting. Of course, moderation is a must when it comes to buffet. Just a little of everything ya ! Upon entering the Cinnamon coffee house, one will be welcomed by the Roast NZ whole lamb with briyani rice, aparagus and mini potatoes. As if it’s welcoming you to eat it ! Lol

I’ll start to write about the heavyweights first as the first photo looks so protein packed. I will never resist Ikan Bakar, how about you?

Next dish, the rendang, well cooked with enough spices with tender juicy meat. Just perfect with a bowl of rice.

Next, if you’re fan of chicken rice, it’s a must try item here. Eat it with enough of it’s own chili sauce for the full satisfaction.

Other type of braised chicken, tasted pretty average on this one.

Western food is also available, truly a 1Malaysia concept.

Now to the lighter choices, we have “pisang goreng”, tempura, fried rice, selections of “kuih-muih”, ketupat.

Aside than that, there is also stir fry of seafood available, just pick and drop it at the Chef.

Cold dishes, especially Japanese sushi and sashimi, but don’t expect lots of them as they are not the highlights in Ramadhan.

For people who are on diet or like to be more on vegetarian and fruits, fear not.

For sweet lovers, there are cakes, cakes and more cakes sitting and waiting for you to pick them!

There are also Malay traditional desserts and “kuih-muih”, suitable as starters and desserts for me :p All of them refreshed my childhood memories when my family brought me to their Malay friends in the village. Simply priceless!

It really once a year what you could be able to taste such a complete traditional and modern Malay delights, all in one location.
