Tomorrow is the New Year Eve, represents the end of 2010. So, if you want to celebrate it “kaw kaw” with your loved ones, Bossa Nova has a special menu offer for you. For those who never heard of this name, this restaurant is located in the Parkroyal Hotel. This special set menu is for 31st of December 2010. Book a.s.a.p. to avoid disappointment. This post will sneak peak preview of the items to be served.

As normal fine dining, we were served with complimentary bread and butter, warm and soft to fill in our empty stomach.

For the starter, the appetizer was Sliced Lobster Medallion with Black Caviar served with Golden Kiwi Vinaigrette and Shiso Mix. The lobster was so fresh, with generous caviar on top of it, simple and healthy.

The next appetizer was a bowl of Porcini Mushroom Consomme. This is the first time I tried clear mushroom soup instead of the common creamy type. The soup is full of mushroom’s aroma, simply amazing.

The third appetizer was a mini glass of Strawberry Sorbet. I know it’s weird to have sorbet as appetizer but it was pretty ok for me. As long as it’s healthy stuff, I’m loving it !

For the ain course, we could choose between the lamb or the fish. Wifey had the Three Bone Lamb Rack crusted with Herbs served with William Potato, Ratatouille and Natural. Of course I chose Fish

My pick was Baked US Seabass served with Apple Cider Balsamic with Potato Cake and Braised Endive. What can I say? Fresh, juicy with crispy skin. Just wish I can have a bigger portion greedy me !

On the normal days, Bossa Nova serves the Brazilian skewered meat on a buffet style. We got to try some of them while waiting for desserts.

Our dessert was the Mixed berry and Creme Brulee came in quite a sizable bowl, donned with a cute gooseberry on top! Simply perfect to finish up the hearty meal.
