Roger’s Delighting You Always

Besides than Bandar Puteri Puchong, another favourite “makan” place is in Kota Damansara. This time we went to Roger’s Delight to try out their home-cooked dishes.

To start with, we had a glass of Umbra with Sour Plum juice. Believe me, it was the best – very concentrated, fragrant and huge! Super worth it, man !

The first dish to arrive that night was the Lady’s fingers with shrimp paste. To be honest, my family loves to eat Lady’s fingers, just boiled them and dip into the “soya sauce + cili padi”. Of course, if you too lazy to cook as below.

The second dish arrived piping hot in a clay pot, apparently their signature dish - Special Curry Duck with Yam. Unfortunately, it has a slightly burnt smell, not sure if it’s supposed to be cooked this way but I don’t quite likey.

The Assam Fish Head was the appetizing dish, definitely just nice to eat it with white rice, yum !

Another favourite was Sweet & Sour Seafood with Pineapple. I likey the sweet and sour fish, I do not eat seafood anymore from now on for health reason so I can’t give comments on the prawns.

Another dish was Pan Fried Assam Prawns, my mom used to cook this dish before too, miss this one badly. Bad I did not touch this dish too, very tempting indeed but must be discipline ! Rogers Delight-11

Next dish was of course something I can have it all for myself Smile with tongue out . It was the Special Homemade Beancurd.

The third prawn dish was Coconut Curry Prawn, the curry was aromatic and thick, with thick hints of coconut milk. Damn tempting me again, but I did not have any of these too.

Again, another seafood was Salted Egg Crab, sigh… why la so many seafood to tempt me? Ok, this time I have some of them. I don’t fancy deep fried stuff very much, but this one was pretty good.

The desset we had was Bubur Cha Cha, not too sweet. I likey this dessert !

Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, just that I feel the price is a little on the higher side, just if it could be a little cheaper. Just my two cents.
