Famous Petaling Street Hon Kee Porridge at Damansara Uptown

As in previous post, this is another porridge mania restaurant, located in Damansara Uptown. Long long ago, this restaurant is started in 1949 in Petaling Street, namely Hon Kee. It instantly become a favorite place due to the infamous raw Wan Yue fish porridge.

The opening hours of the Petaling Street restaurant: 7 am - 11pm.

Once entered, you’ll see a stall with “Yaw Char Kuey” and various deep fried “kuih”.

Above: Thin cut of fresh “Wan Yue” Fish. You can eat it by its own like a sashimi or dip it into the hot porridge.

If you’re not fancy of porridge, fear not because Hon Kee has selection of soups, nasi lemak, curry hor fun, etc.
