Sanyo Xacti Launching Dinner at Chinois with Sample of Full HD Video

As mentioned on previous post, after the press conference, our media blogger has few hours time to kill while waiting for dinner.
So, being adventurous, we visited the newly opened Resorts World, Universal Studio and Hard Rock Hotel.
Our first stop was at Hard Rock Hotel Singapore!

Our media group, jumping high. Below, the symbol of Hard Rock Hotel Singapore.

We've been to Hollywood !! Hehe, nobody knows right?

What will you do if you found yourself in a shop full of Hershey and Reese ButterCup?

Wifey with a big bottle of Hershey chocolate, I think it will take me a year to finish this bottle.

Walking around the Universal Studio, we were stopped by a spectular Salsa dance performance.
We then arrived in Chinois for dinner, my stomach was still full, never once hunger ever crosses my mind that day.
We are all fed well :D One of the decoration in the restaurant.
This is how our kind host, Nick looks like. Somehow, he usually looks blur to me :P Haha, sorry Nick.
More photos with the models, different models than the morning session.
Some of the photos shot and printed at once. Such a fast and efficient the event team. Respect !
Again, our media blogger + some of magazine writers + NST writer.
The models from the morning session did join in the cat walk. I wonder if they managed to take bath since the afternoon?
Guess not. Anyway, they still smells good standing next to me :D
The special set menu that we were treated that night.
Our first course soon arrived – Chilled Momotaro Tomato Salad topped with Sake marinated Confit of Lobster!
And I can tell you, I really tasted sake inside! And the piece of lobster on top was just succulent and fresh.
Next dish was the star of the night ! Double-boiled Shark’s fin with Sea Treasures in Coconut Shell.
The fragrant of the coconut easily noticeable once I took the first sip. Simply marvelous !
Next was the Crisp-fried Fillet of Marble Goby served with Mixed Green salad and Mint leaves.
The fish was so fresh inside and crispy outside.
My first time trying out wagyu beef, next was the Pan-seared Australian wagyu beef with Foie Gras.
Eating the foie gras with wagyu beef gave a whole new meaning on steak. The foie gras was so soft that when
it melted with the beef, the combination was perfect although there was a mixed feeling of sinful.
Ok, forget what I have just said !
Next dish was Braised Mee Sua in Noble Tan Fu Sauce served with Freshly-peeled Crab Claw.
The crab claw is so fresh that you can still taste the finger of the chef who peel it !! Oh, that's a little too exaggerating, I know.
We were served with dessert as the closing of the night, Gratin of Assorted Berries and Fruits in Passion Fruit Sabayon.
There were plenty of berries in this dessert including raspberries and blueberries, all fresh, huge and juicy.
It was served with green-tea mousse as the side line, such an anti-oxidant treat !
Oh, did I forget to mention about the door gift for the afternoon press conference? A very beneficial gift for photographer / blogger.
Thank you, Sanyo !!
I ended this blog post with a video, taken by wifey with one of the Xacti dual camera. that you waited!
This was taken during the dinner itself, when everyone was high on alcohol and started talking loudly. :)
Video was taken with full HD format and then resized. Check out the clarity even at very LOW light, as well as the zoom
function. This video is courtesy of wifey.

It was truly a meaningful and fun weekend with VIP treatment and of course, with the company of cool new friends !
