If you know me, I'm always "on" for healthy food. Everything I had, I tried to eat less salt, less cheese, less seafood and less meat. I know it's hard to resist delicious and I'm struggling too. After being introduced by a friend, I visited Salad Bar.

Salad bar offers set menu which is pretty worth it. Some comes with soup, some with pasta or a drink. I ordered myself the home-made Soup of the Day from The Salad Bar. It was mushroom soup, this is not the creamy mushroom type. Just pure mushroom for health conscious people like me.

For drinks, Orange juice for me. It's simply 100% pure fruit juice, no added water or sugar, or even ice !

For the mains, I ordered myself the supersalad. If you're with a group of people, you may order their sandwiches or pasta too. I got to pick the toppings I like as well as the leaves!
Above: Tropical Fruits Salad (RM6.90/Half portion) - MUST TRY !
Tropical Fruits Salad is perfect for those who do not have a large appetite and love a sweet twist to their salad. This salad was bursting with juices from various fruits, most noticeably the juicy plump pomelo sacs and the sweet mango cubes. Indeed a very refreshing salad with sweet pomelo and mango on top.
The Spicy Salad works perfectly with spicy teriyaki chicken and a generous amount of chili and balsamic vinegar.

Next was the High Energy Superman Salad. It was topped with generous amount of cornflakes that gave it a nice crunch, as well as savoury chicken sausages. However, if you don't favor processed food like sausage, you can opt for herbs chicken or spicy chicken.

If the salads from the menu do not tickle your fancy, you can opt to customize your own salad by choosing 2 greens, 3 toppings and 1 dressing, all for only RM5.50 (Half portion) and RM9.50 (Full portion). All the salads shown above were Half portion, but they’re as big as some full-sized salads elsewhere.

Now, to something I would recommend. A must have to end your meal here.
