Best Claypot Chicken in Klang Valley

Want to search for best claypot in KL? I cannot claim this is the best, but it is the best for me. LSY Pot, a restaurant that focuses on claypot dishes, has just arrived in Puchong recently. LSY Pot serves their Oriental Claypot Chicken Rice in a huge claypot in all its glory. Just look the picture, it was cooked with charcoal with the heat distributed evenly. The best part? Look at the amount of meat ! Truly worth it, unlike the normal claypot rice which just gives you few pieces of chicken.

Wifey ordered herself Three Layer Tea which is a big no-no for me. I always find it's like drinking "gula melaka" water only.

We started dinner with some yummy appetizer, the Beancurd Roll (fu chuk). It was slightly over-fried, but pretty ok for me.

The Vegetarian sheets a.k.a as Vegetarian Duck, on the other hand, were nice and chewy, can't have enough of it !

There are 2 version of Claypot rice here. The first one is the classic one - huge servings of well-marinated chicken on top of  dark-coloured rice and thirdly, a generous portion of lap cheong (waxed meat and salted fish!

The 2nd version is something special, it is actually better than the classic one. The chicken is served with white rice instead, you can opt for them to be served separately – chicken on a plate and white rice in the claypot.

  4. I was there today with my family (19/02/2012) for lunch, is a real disappointment with their management and services.
Waited for more than half and hour patiently and notice 2 family complaining as other come later then us got the food serve.
I walk out of the restaurant with my family and the waiter still have the guts to ask me to pay for the 2 bottles of drink. I give her RM10 and walk off.
I would never go back there again as their management n services is really SUCK.
Not recommend anyone to eat there.
