Back to the Nature at Philea Resort, Melaka

Tired of city life and wish to pack your bags and back to the nature? I did that few weeks ago. The destination was Philea Resort and Spa, the largest and biggest log resort in Malaysia is situated in the town of Ayer Keroh, Melaka, covering 15 acres of luxury living and relaxation.

After checking in, we are taken to our room by buggy. We were brought for a short detour to one of the 19 Philea Suites, spacious and elegantly furnished with a comfortable settee and a stand-up bathtub in the bathroom.

My first time to actually see the stand-up bathtub with a telephone. Not really a telephone, it is the shower head !

Now, I just wish the weather is cool but that day it was hot like hell.

Below is how our villa looks like. Made from 100% wood? Wonder how many trees was chopped off for this.

Once we opened the door, what greeted our eyes was nothing short of heavenly. Guess what's the first thing I did? Of course turn on the air-conditioner !!

The toilet was modern and well-equipped with a full-sized bathtub as well as a shower booth. I loved the giant shower head in the shower booth that provided a strong and dense water pressure. Bliss!

The toiletries provided were provided. So, you just need to bring your own clothes here. The wireless connection was pretty weak in the room though, guess that ours were far from the access point.

Philea Resort is indeed a haven on earth, the place to relax and recharge oneself surrounded by nature and greenery. Somewhere I want to go once in a while to escape from the city.
