Fancy American food? I went to Kalamazoo, no, not to the city in the southwest region of Michigan state in the U.S., but a newly opened restaurant located in Aman Suria, PJ. Once seated and looked at the menu, I asked for the all time favorite recommendation. I was recommended the Meat Loaf, so fine with it. After waited for roughly 20 minutes, my order came as below. After my first bit, I nodded my head as a sign of approved !

The plate of Garlic Bread came with a bright yellow layer of garlic butter on top, crispy on the edges and warm in the middle. Too much butter I would say.

The soup of the day was Chicken, Carrot and Coriander Soup, simply thumbs-up for this.

The first main course that we had was Alex’s Beef Meatloaf, served in two huge and thick pieces with a side of mash potatoes.

The Pine-Chutney Pork Burger was a little bland though even though I know pork burger is everyone's favourite.

Callahan’s Roast Chicken was nicely roasted and served on a bed of mashed potatoes. The meat was smooth and falling-off-the-bone tender with juices intact.

However, I prefer Pesto Cheesy Chicken, made from grilled chicken breast, the meat was amazingly not dry or bland like I would expect to be, but very tender and delicious with the melted cheese and pesto on top.

The K’ZOO Style Tender Ribs were grilled pork ribs, however I found them too bland for me.

Our last main course, the Grilled Lamb Shoulder was perfectly done in medium, however you can forget about about the salad and spaghetti at the side.

For desserts, I highly recommend the Chocolate Brownies with Ice-cream on top.
