As we travelled to Abbotsford, which is around 40 mins drive from Boronia, Lia the project manager brought us to try out one of the famous Vietnamese restaurant here. From what I heard, there are multiple of Vietnamese restaurant here and it’s kind of Vietnamese monopolized area, lol. The photos were again taken with my iPhone, pls bear with them.

As Aaron was craving for Peking duck, so we ordered for him. Peking duck in a Vietnamese restaurant? Hmmm… The Peking duck wraps is damn good, burst in flavor and the thick sauce that surrounds it, not too sweet yet not salty. Perfect ! We also ordered the beef soup, which was sweet and aromatic, very recommended indeed !

As starters, we had two versions of spring rolls. On the left was the one wrapped with fresh prawns and chicken. While on the right, we had the fried versions. I prefer the non-fried, of course ! Healthier.

We also ordered a soup, forgot what is it, but it was pretty good. Next, we actually want to order Mongolian Lamb, but as lamb is not available, so we settled for beef. The taste was good but I found it too salty, even eating it with rice.

Next dish was the chicken with plum sauce, the chicken is so tender until I can’t believe it’s chicken meat. No kidding ! The tenderness was almost felt like the Frog meat (Tin Kai).

As Lia was being generous today, she also ordered another chicken dishes with Deep Fried Noodles (note the crispy thingy underneath the chicken?) Besides that, on the right we had Deep Fried Beef with Orange sauce. They both tasted great and were in VERY big portion. At the end, we could not finish them !

If you’re into Vietnamese restaurant and so happen to live/be in this area, I would say go for it ! The restaurant lady owner is always ready to serve and assist you.
