A new day for a day trip to Melbourne city, started off to Federation Square. Below is the starting point, where you can see the apartment where I’m staying on the centre right. The road is pretty clear most of the time, even though there is a huge shopping mall, Eastland which is just across the street.
The nearest Ringwood train station is around 500 meters away, reachable within the walking distance.
Above: The Daily Train Ticket costs $3.10 for day trip (unlimited ride). This is a promotion fare only on Sunday. Normal day costs $9 for an unlimited day trip.

Upon reaching the Federation Square, which is just opposite the Flinders' Street train station, we’re stopped by spectacular performance, the funniest live street show I ever seen.
Above: This man with hat is very funny !! I ended up paying him $2 for supporting street entertainer !
Beautiful building within your eye sights when standing at the federation square.
Above: The art gallery, there is a huge batman car inside, believe it or not?
For breakfast, I grabbed a Mexican hotdog, then sitting on the long chair in the middle of the street. Guess what happened? Birds starting to land in front of us, and looking at our food, lol.
More pictures.
The back of the picture is the Victoria train station, guess the restaurant in Malaysia was named after this?
Another street performer waiting to entertain the crowds. Well, I did not pay for this one :)
Another street performer, she is standing for an hour and available for photo shooting.
Before the lunch, I had mood for ice-cream. It’s so good to have delicious cold ice-cream and walking in a cold air.
I think 4 scoops of ice-creams !! :P If I’m not mistaken, it was $6.90. A cute writing “ Help ! Get me out – it’s freezing”.
Before we continue our walk, we head for lunch at P.J Briens, which is inside the South Gate mall itself. It’s an real Irish restaurant. After hearing about KilKenny beer from some bloggers, so I decided to give it a try.
Above: KilKenny beer, worth to upload 2 photos, lol.
Above: I have the beef steak, cooked medium.
Above: My friend had chicken breast fillet with lots of chunky fries.
Above: Another friend had pumpkin soup :S
After the lunch, we continue walking along the street and saw another performer, this time a magician but a funny one.
Above: Another street entertainer, they will hook your attention right away, trust me.
That’s all a day trip, it was around 4PM or 5PM, when we left and went back to Ringwood. Next round, we’re going Chinatown, Melbourne Central and Queen Victoria Market.
Stay tune !
